Whale (Singapore) — $40M Series C extension, total $100M
Singapore-based enterprise AI company Whale (founded by ex-Meta data scientist Jerry Ye) closed a $40M Series C3 extension last week, bringing the round to $100M total. Co-led by CMB International and Japan’s SMBC Asia Rising Fund, with Thailand’s Krungsri Finnovate and Singtel Innov8 also joining. Whale’s AI Operating System now serves 1,600+ enterprises across 45 countries, managing 600,000+ edge AI nodes.
